> **Toy philosophy** applies a model-building methodology to the design of toy models. First, such toys demonstrate or explain philosophical and scientific problems — similar to a “toy problem” in AI or a “proof of concept” in engineering. Second, philosophical toys allow the construction of speculative metaphysics from which impossible objects, alternative physics and epistemologies follow (see [[Cosmoscope_3D|Cosmoscope_3D]]).
